The South East has its own Gardens Festival that is a trail of about 14
private gardens, and they are open to the public at this time – but these
private gardens are also open most of the year by prior arrangement.

borders. Garden has a Japanese area and two
water features.
Location: Take Dungarvan Road (R671) from
Clonmel; first two-storey house on right after ball
alley cross.
Facilities: Garden is wheelchair accessible
Open: Festival weekend Sat/Sun: 11am-7pm. Other
times by appointment.

A young garden with stunning views. Features
include young pergola walk, sunken garden, water
feature with Japanese bridge. Mostly shrubs, with
extensive Verbena Bonarienses and Hydrangea
Annabella.
Location: From Clonmel to Ardfinnan and then take
Clogheen Road; 2.6km from Ardfinnan Church turn
right, 0.5km pink bungalow on left.
Open: Festival Weekend: Sat & Sun: 2-6pm. Other
times, groups by appointment

Mature 1 acre garden wih rare trees, shrubs and a
mountain stream. A serene and calming place.
Location: Take N76 from Clonmel towards
Kilkenny. At Petrol Pumps take left and continue
for two miles; take third right, pass school, turn left
and it is first house on left.
Open: 27/28 June, all day. Other times by
appointment.
