Hotel Minella (Coleville Rd), Clonmel Park Hotel (Cahir Rd) and Raheen House Hotel (Raheen Rd) all have excellent cuisine using fresh local produce. Clonmel Park Hotel also has a carvery.  Befani’s in Sarsfield St. serve Mediterranean food all week and do a great Irish breakfast.  Mulcahy’s Bar and Restaurant in Gladstone St.

has a carvery all day and East Lane Restaurant  takes over in the evening with an a la carte menu from 5.30 (early bird till 7.30).  Devane’s Bar and Restaurant in Irishtown has excellent cooking and serves generous portions.  Brazil’s Cafe Bar - The 19th Hole, Irishtown provides excellent lunch and dinner Tuesday to

Saturday with music some nights.

 

D’Amigos Steakhouse at the Posthouse, Gladstone St. serves value award winning food till 9.30pm.  Chapman’s House of Coffee is at a converted mill in Emmet St. and serves excellent lunches.  Niamh’s Restaurant in Mitchell St. is popular for day time meals and snacks (till 5.45pm but not Sundays). Coffee and tea refills are free.

The Home Bakery in Mitchell St. serves snacks every weekday till 6pm. Ask for Vera (proprietor) who is a former Mayor of Clonmel.  There is an excellent restaurant at Dunnes Stores  located in their large store on Davis Rd.
